• I met with Dr. Myeroff on Monday, December 20th to assess my repair my broken clavicle. He was very thorough and both treatments, either letting it heal naturally or have it surgically intervened. We came to the decision, mutually, to have it surgically intervened. The best outcome for me. He answered all my questions. He was polite. He was very informative. • Pain free after 6+ years! First surgery was total replacement which proved to be made of a metal to which I was allergic. The second surgery removed the offending metal and a spacer was placed in order to facilitate healing. I was led to believe nothing more could be done. I then found Dr Meyeroff who did a shoulder replacement made of a a non-reactive metal. It proved to be a miracle! I was pain-free within days! A new lease on life! He was well prepped about my history, asked probing questions and listened as I filled in details. • This doctor is a talented surgeon and has wonderful communication skills. He was wonderful listener for me and recognized I had a lot of different Health concern. He was able to read the MRI and see it from the inside out because he is a surgeon and find out why the previous doctors have not had the shot in the right place and has not realize what the issues were. • Trauma Elbow 6 Month
  everything has been healing well overall. i’ve noticed some shoulder discomfort once I was able to start raising my arm up and extending more. There was no issue initially due to my arm being confined to my body for the healing process. It’s not much discomfort, but probably worth noting at least. I assume part of the discomfort is simply the lack of full motion for those few months. I think too that when I initially fell and had the elbow break, the shoulder was damaged to a degree. I notice the shoulder discomfort mostly when I sleep on that side with my arm up or when I reach up and away from the body. But again, overall healing is on track and I think for 6 months after I have very few restrictions as to what i can do day to day. I appreciate the hard work and positive attitudes from everyone on staff during this process!

• I have had a lot of health issues in the last 18 months. I have trouble figuring out who to call, which is an HP issue. I call the appointment center (not for Ortho) which says they schedule for HP CLinics, but not Stillwater or Hudson Clinic. I ask if the clinic is tier 1 and they don't know. When I broke my humerous (and wrist), I called two differnet Orthos, so I could be seen. (after trying the regular appointment line.) Now that I am seeing Dr Myeroff, everything is fine.
